Rotary vane

Rotary vane vacuum pumps create regions of low pressure by moving fluid, using a rotating vane assembly in the pumping chamber. Typically there are two or more rotating vanes that move the gas or fluid from inlet to outlet. Rotary vane pumps can be employed universally throughout the entire low and medium vacuum ranges.

Available in either dry running or lubricated capacities, both have a simplicity of design with only one shaft and direct drive, producing robust, long-lasting vacuum pumps with low maintenance and running costs.

The dry running rotary vane vacuum pumps operate completely oil-free with the individual chambers separated by long-life vanes.

Dry running advantages –

  • Low noise level
  • Easy to operate
  • Dry running, environmentally friendly
  • Process safe and reliable
  • Robust and economical
  • Many accessories
  • Worldwide service
  • Maintenance friendly

Alternatively, the lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps have vanes that are sealed by a metered supply of oil. Already equipped with integrated non-return valves and an efficient oil separation system, these vacuum pumps can be fitted with other accessories without a problem.

Lubricated advantages –

  • Long vane life
  • Low noise level
  • Easy to service
  • High water vapor tolerance
  • Long service intervals
  • For many industrial applications
